Dear Prospective Delegates, Sponsor Teachers, and Schools,On behalf of the Secretariat and staff, it gives me great pleasure to invite you to Connect Model United Nations 2010.
Thank you for your interest in ConnectMUN, which will be held November 19-21, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Vancouver. We are proud to be able to offer delegates the opportunity to improve their skills in the art of public speaking, debate, and negotiation, while experiencing firsthand the roles and responsibilities of diplomats. Our committees have once again been separated into beginner and advanced tiers, in order to provide a comfortable yet challenging environment for both novice and veteran delegates. We are also thrilled to welcome back the Commonwealth conference to ConnectMUN, which provides delegates with another unique perspective on international affairs.
While striving to offer unparalleled debate quality and a stellar conference experience, we will also be holding a volunteer fair. This fair will showcase the efforts of local organizations, as well as expose delegates to volunteer opportunities and initiatives. With our stimulating committees and engaging volunteer fair, we hope to fulfill this year’s theme of ‘redefining global citizens.’
